I like that there are two meditations, one to prepare you for the day and one to wind down.Very helpful.

Beautiful & easy layout --- the best way to start my morning and end my evening!

Ive owned the print version Night Light for years now, and it is one of my favorite daily meditation books. However, I probably dont use it as often as I would like because I keep it at home. I also was not aware that its got a Morning Light counterpart. Im very excited to now have both in an app that makes it so handy to browse, not just AM & PM, but anytime of the day, anywhere I happen to be. The format is very much like the bookform itself. When you first enter the app, the artful covers of each book appear. It then morphs to todays AM pondering. You can easily switch to the PM pondering by pressing the sun/moon icon. If youd like to go to a particular date, you touch todays date and a calendar appears from which you can select desired date. There is also the ability to email any daily meditation and a search function where you can input a keyword in order to find other entries related to that topic. You can adjust the font size, and there is an icon that links to a listing of other Hazelden apps (I also purchased Touchstones for men). If I could request an additional feature, it would be to also have the traditional index by topic as is found in the book(s) with links that take you to that day (though the keyword search essentially does do the same thing). Excellent app and well worth the investment! I hope more of these books are developed in app form!

Love the app and the ability to receive daily meditations on my iPhone. For the price of this app though there are two things I would like to see improved, iPhone 5 screen size support and a quicker load time. The app would be a five star with these features.

While I like the morning and evening readings, so far, I find the advertisement for the publisher followed by the cover of the book displayed on the screen EVERY time annoying. I paid for the right to read the pages, why should I have to wait through the scroll of ads? Yes, I know, keep coming back. Thanks for the opportunity to voice my opinion.

Wonderful :) ! Beautiful wisdom, and the quotes are great ! Also its possible to scroll back and reread past dates, and email share my favorite meditations :) . Sensitive and tasteful welcome additions to my days and nights, I dont usually gush so much, I really like this app ! PS - The newest update is Awesome too! Another reviewer does not enjoy the newest additions, I Love The Secure Links to informative current webpage free blog entries from likeminded well known authors in current recovery, ex - Brene Browne :) .
